Major Executive Beauty Moves August 2026

August proved to be another active month for executive moves across the beauty industry, with leadership changes spanning major strategics, retailers, independents, and adjacent consumer businesses. As companies look toward the final stretch of 2026, several have strengthened their C-suites, while others have reshaped boards and senior leadership teams to support their next phase of growth, transformation, and category expansion.

L’Oréal USA announced the appointment of Rahquel Purcell as Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, North America. Reporting to L’Oréal USA CEO Alexis Perakis-Valat, Purcell brings extensive operational and transformational leadership experience, having previously served as the zone's Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Operations Officer.

m.ph beauty, founded by celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips, has appointed Kira Jackson as Chief Marketing Officer. A former consumer brand investor, she most recently served as Chief Brand Officer at SET Active. She also sits on the board of growth equity firm RX3 Growth Partners and is a contributing editor at Inc. and Marie Claire.

Clearstem Skincare announced the appointment of Diana Dennett as President. Dennett joins the founding team with more than 20 years of experience building and scaling leading beauty brands across retail, professional, and direct-to-consumer channels. She previously held leadership roles at Oliveda, Dermalogica, and Juice Beauty. 

Allies of Skin founder and CEO Nicolas Travis will step down from the company, with his departure effective February 10, 2027. Travis, who founded the Singapore-based luxury skincare brand in 2016, has given six months’ notice.
